Bedlinog 2 - 3 Penydarren

The visitors started strongly and went ahead when a cross wasn't dealt with and fell to a Penydarren player who put the ball in the back of the net. The Rocks slowly got back into the game and deservedly equalised with a fine long range effort from Darren Jenkins, his second in two games. The second half started the same with the home team pressing and well on top. A mistake by the keeper let in in Dean Jones who slotted the ball home to give the Rocks the lead. Further chances were squandered which would have sealed the game but Penydarren slowly came back into the game and was on top going into the final 10 minutes. Mike Warren in the Bedlinog goal made amends for his mistake in the build up to the first goal by saving a penalty and pulling off another couple of good saves but Penydarren equalised and scored another straight away to go away with the points and breath a huge sigh of relief.
